Frosty Dawn

Frost-laden branches in deep purple and gold frame a snowy path curving away into a glowing stand of ice-coated trees, a fallen log resting orange with frost at the water's edge. The light source stays hidden behind the trees, its color spreading outward in a soft wash of pink and green across the mist. Snow blankets every surface except the thin ribbon of open water winding through the center of the frame. Frosty Dawn treats the first light of a cold morning as something that needs to be filtered through an entire forest before it reaches the ground.
