About
Igor Zenin, photographer
Igor Zenin’s photography practice spans decades, rooted in his home country, the Republic of Moldova. Early in his career his lens captured significant moments and public figures — including cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, during his 1966 visit to Moldova.
In 2007, more than eighty of his works were exhibited in Strasbourg during a winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), and several of his photographs have since appeared on the covers of Council of Europe publications.
His work today centers on landscapes, moods, and moments — atmospheric, often silhouetted scenes that turn ordinary weather, light, and season into something quietly theatrical. Browse the gallery.
