Crucifixion

A weathered crucifix stands mounted on the corner of an old plaster building, sunbeams breaking hard through storm clouds directly above it like the sky picked this exact rooftop to light up. The quiet village below barely registers next to that kind of drama overhead. Faith imagery doesn't always need a cathedral — sometimes a corner post and the right sky does the job.
