City Stroll

A woman in a dark dress walks a rain-slicked city street under a bright red umbrella, a vintage streetcar rolling toward her past a landmark flatiron building with a green copper spire. The wet pavement doubles everything above it — buildings, sky, the one bright spot of red — into a second city underfoot. Storm clouds hang heavy overhead, but the mood reads more atmospheric than gloomy. City Stroll finds one saturated color and lets an entire rainy skyline organize itself around it.
