At The Beach
by Igor Zenin
A single trail of footprints runs toward a wave that's already erasing the ones behind it, shells scattered across wet sand still catching the last of a sunset the color of the whole shoreline. A gull cuts across the sun like it's the only witness left. It's the kind of beach photo that isn't really about the beach — it's about how fast every trace here gets taken back.
