The Last Dance

A gnarled tree dominates the right side of the frame, a woman's form emerging from its bark as though carved into the wood. Overhead, a mass of red and gold leaves sweeps upward in a single windblown arc, and faint silhouettes of dancing figures move through the misty grove to the left. The Last Dance ties the tree-woman and the distant dancers together under the same gust of wind.
