Tango Memories

A tango couple appears as a ghostly image on the cracked stone wall of an old city alley — the woman's red dress the only color in an otherwise grey scene. Below them, a saxophonist plays in the shadow of a vaulted tunnel, the music presumably conjuring the image above. A figure climbs the stairs ahead into the light, and a lantern marks the top of the archway. Tango Memories layers the dance onto stone, as if the wall has been holding the memory of every couple that passed through it.
