Sunset Capture

A framed canvas stands on an easel in the middle of a stormy sea, a hand reaching from outside the frame to paint a calmer beach scene directly onto it. Inside the painting, a small figure walks toward a sailboat under a sky the artist has rendered in warm pink and gold, while outside the frame the real ocean churns in cold greens and greys. The canvas doesn't just depict the calmer scene — it seems to be actively creating it, wet paint blending into the painted waves.
