A tangle of footprints crosses a snowy field in black and white, no walkers visible — just the trail they left behind heading in every direction. Some prints double back, some push straight through, the whole pattern reading like a record of decisions made and unmade. Road of Life turns an ordinary snowfield into a genuine map of where people have actually been.
