Red Dawn

A red poppy stands sharp against a sky gone entirely magenta and crimson at dusk, more blooms scattering dark across the meadow below. Color takes over completely here — sky and flower nearly indistinguishable in tone, the whole scene painted in one saturated red. Red Dawn earns its title in exactly how far that color bleeds across the frame.
