Lilac Time

Purple lilac blossoms crowd the foreground in sharp focus, a misty valley of golden fields rolling out behind them under a sky gone dark and stormy. Color does all the contrasting here — soft violet against hard weather, spring refusing to notice the clouds. Lilac Time captures the flowers at the exact moment they're impossible to ignore.
