Forest Life

A single red-and-white toadstool glows at the base of a birch trunk rendered almost entirely in black and white, a faint light seeming to burn from somewhere inside the bark itself. Mist blurs the forest behind it into suggestion, leaving the mushroom as the only thing fully alive in frame. It's forest life reduced to its most fairy-tale-ready detail.
