Fishing In November

A small island of green willow trees holds out against the season on a misty lake, sun breaking through heavy cloud in long dramatic rays over the water. A bare tree stands watch in the foreground, already surrendered to November while the willows haven't quite gotten the memo. It's a landscape caught between two seasons and clearly still deciding.
