Dreaming Spirit

A woman's silhouette merges into a tangle of bare, thorny branches, the two shapes so fully overlapped it's hard to say where hair ends and bramble begins. Soft pink roses bloom at the very bottom of the frame, the one note of color and life in an otherwise ghost-pale, misty scene. It's less a portrait than an apparition — something pagan and half-remembered, caught for a second before it fades back into the woods.
