Belorussian Rainbow

A faint double rainbow bends over a village church steeple, the river below gone a startling, almost unnatural green with lily pads crowding the near bank. Storm light does what storm light always does to a small skyline — makes the one steeple in frame look like the reason the rainbow showed up at all. Sometimes the countryside stages its own miracle and just waits for someone to be standing there with a camera.
