Autumn Forest

A shaft of light finds the one gap in a birch stand gone entirely gold, the trees on either side glowing like they're lit from inside rather than just catching the sun. Whatever's standing in that clearing is almost beside the point next to the light doing the actual work. Autumn forests get photographed constantly. This is the version that remembers to make it look like a miracle.
