Allegory Of Unreachable Land

A skyline glows through fog and sunset haze, a curving highway loop wrapping a patch of green lawn into something like an island cut off from the city it belongs to. Cars trace the loop endlessly while the land at its center just sits there, close enough to see and impossible to actually reach. The allegory in the title isn't subtle, and it doesn't need to be — the road makes the argument on its own.
