Trailing willow branches frame a still lake dotted with pink water lilies, a swan mid-landing with wings still spread wide over the surface. Tucked into the hanging leaves on the right, a face watches quietly from within the foliage, barely distinguishable from the tree itself. Distant trees glow gold across the water while a faint band of aurora-green light threads through the gap in the branches. Willow Lake treats the tree as less a backdrop than a resident, keeping an eye on the lake it shades.
