A golden shell splits open in deep space, revealing a marbled little world glowing blue and green at its center, wisps of vapor still curling off the fracture lines. A tiny figure perches on the broken edge, watching the birth up close rather than from any safe distance. Off to one side, a second, unhatched egg-world waits its turn, patient in the dark. Second Genesis treats creation as something that happens more than once — and someone always seems to be there for it.
