Rooster

A rooster's silhouette rises fiery red and orange from a swirl of green, brushwork blurring the line between bird and abstract paint entirely. It's less a portrait than an impression — crowing rendered as pure color and motion rather than actual feathers. Rooster earns its title with barely a literal detail to spare.
