Flame in the Snowfield

A tree shouldn't be burning in the middle of a snowfield under a sky this full of stars, and yet there it is — flame climbing bare branches like it belongs there, ice and fire sharing the same frame without either one winning. It's the kind of contradiction that only works as an image, never as weather — which is exactly why it's worth keeping as one.
