Morning Water
by Igor Zenin
Birds skim low across a misty lake at dawn, an autumn tree glowing rust-red on one side while reeds break the still water in the foreground. Everything else dissolves into soft sepia haze, leaving just birds, branches, and the faint suggestion of a shoreline. Morning Water captures that exact, quiet hour when a lake is still deciding whether to wake up.
