Light On
by Igor Zenin
Two unlit bulbs lie discarded on cracked, drought-split earth while a third glows warm and gold nearby, the only functioning idea in a landscape that's otherwise given up. It reads as allegory without needing to explain itself — inspiration surviving where everything else has dried out. Light On finds the one bulb still worth plugging in.
