Into The Forest
by Igor Zenin
Tall, moss-draped old-growth trees stand close together, their bark dark and textured, the canopy far above filtering the light into long vertical shafts. The forest floor is a dense carpet of green moss, fern, and scattered yellow leaves, interrupted by a small still pool reflecting the light above. At the edges of the frame, purple bluebells have found a gap in the shade. A dead bare tree stands to the right — unchanged while everything around it grows. Into The Forest renders the interior of a living forest as a kind of cathedral: vertical, hushed, and lit from somewhere you can't quite see.
