Hidden Bench

A lamplit path curves through an autumn park at dusk, a lone figure with an umbrella walking away beneath trees heavy with red and gold leaves. A puddle on the path catches the glow of the nearest streetlamp, doubling the light in still water. Off to the side, half-swallowed by shadow and fallen leaves, a wooden bench sits empty and easy to miss. Hidden Bench rewards the kind of looking that notices what a park keeps for whoever slows down.
