Gray

Pale willow branches hang heavy with dry seed pods, rendered in tones so muted the whole image reads as barely more than gray and beige. Fog softens a hint of countryside below into the faintest suggestion of landscape. Gray commits fully to its title — this is what a season looks like with all the color turned down.
