Foggy Morning

Red and purple maple leaves lie scattered across dew-heavy grass, sharp and saturated against a background gone soft with morning fog. Distant trees barely register as shapes, letting the leaves in the foreground carry the whole scene. It's autumn distilled down to color and moisture, nothing else required.
