Flower Picking

A woman in a straw hat and pale dress bends to gather wildflowers in a birch grove, a loose bundle of blue blooms already cradled in one arm. Cornflowers crowd the foreground in soft focus, close enough to almost brush the viewer, while mist blurs the white trunks into rows of pale verticals behind her. Nothing about the moment feels staged — she's mid-task, unaware of being watched. Flower Picking captures the kind of ordinary errand that only looks like a fairy tale from a slight distance.
