The title nods to the myth of Europa, the Phoenician woman said to have given the continent her name, though here she looms far larger than any queen. In the distance a trumpet player and a dancer stand on a bank of cloud, echoing the same scale-breaking logic that lets the central figure share a horizon with the planet itself.
