A small family of ducks glides across a still lake at dawn, birds streaming overhead through clouds gone dramatic with pink and gold light. Everything below the birds stays calm and unhurried, the water barely disturbed by the ducklings crossing it. It's summer's last quiet morning, captured before the season actually notices it's over.
