Easter Eggs

Painted eggs in red, gold and orange scatter loosely across dew-heavy grass, a soft blur of blossoming trees standing guard on either side. Fog keeps the background gentle, letting the eggs' color do all the announcing that spring has arrived. It's Easter reduced to its simplest, most cheerful ingredients — grass, bloom, and a handful of painted color.
