Droplets

A woman's face and a spray of red poppies blur together behind a pane thick with water droplets, color bleeding through glass like the whole image is still drying. It's part portrait, part still life, entirely unwilling to resolve into just one or the other. The droplets aren't hiding her — they're what makes her worth looking at twice.
