Dniester River

The Dniester curls through farmland and a small village at dusk, catching the last gold light in every bend like the river's kept a little of the sunset for itself. It's the border river that's shaped Moldova and Ukraine for centuries, seen here doing nothing more dramatic than reflecting the sky. Some rivers earn their reputation through history. This one earns a second look through light alone.
