Deviant Stand

A lone, leafless tree clings to a spur of rock as a heavy storm bears down over the water. Its bare, twisted limbs and exposed roots stand starkly against dark, roiling clouds, while sea-green waves crash and foam around the base of the stone. A narrow band of clear sky glows faintly behind the clouds, the only break in an otherwise turbulent scene. Deviant Stand finds a lone tree holding its ground exactly where nothing else would.
