Country Morning

A shepherd walks a small herd of cows down a tree-lined path so thick with fog that the far end of it disappears entirely. Nobody's moving fast — the cows amble, the fog holds its ground, and the whole scene reads like it's waiting for the sun to actually show up and do something about it. Some mornings are just about getting from one end of the fog to the other.
