Canadian Landscape

A shallow river cuts through dense Quebec wilderness, dark evergreen holding its ground against maples that have already gone entirely orange. It's autumn doing what autumn does best in this part of Canada — turning one species loud while the rest of the forest stays quiet around it. The water just keeps moving through all of it, unbothered by the color war happening on either bank.
