Boulder Shores

Storm clouds crack open just enough to let a shaft of light fall across a boulder-strewn shoreline, a bird caught mid-takeoff among the rocks below. Everything above the waterline is heavy and dark, the sky pressing down with weather that hasn't finished yet. The light itself is the only relief — a narrow, hard-edged gap that turns the water beneath it silver. Boulder Shores captures that specific moment on a coast when the storm hasn't broken, but the sky has decided to blink.
