Black Soil Fields

Rows of cypress trees stitch straight lines across farmland gone electric green under a sky doing full sunset theatrics — purple, orange, and gold all fighting for the same few minutes. It's the kind of panorama that makes working farmland look like it was planned by a landscape architect instead of a few generations of farmers. Black soil earns a reputation like that eventually.
