A Day In November
by Igor Zenin
One red umbrella threads its way down an avenue of birch already stripped for the season, dew still clinging to the bare twigs closest to the lens. Whoever's underneath it is walking, not lingering — this is a day you get through, not one you plan around. November rarely gets photographed this tenderly, but here it is, worth a second look anyway.
