Looking Down
by Igor Zenin
A figure with one great crimson wing stands atop a weathered stone ledge, gazing down at a green river valley curling far below. The texture behind her — cracked, sun-bleached stone — makes the whole scene feel ancient, like she's been watching from this same spot for longer than the landscape has existed. Looking Down plays less like a portrait than a myth caught mid-vigil.
